Fun and Easy Day Trips from Los Gatos

Los Gatos is a cute family friendly town, conveniently located 52 miles from San Francisco, 126 miles from Sacramento and about 225 miles from Lake Tahoe. Because of itโ€™s location, it provides easy access to tons of fun day trips, when you’re looking to get out of town for a few hours, or a whole day!

Whether you are looking to relax on the beach, spend a day at a spa, go biking, kayaking, whale watching or wine tasting, there is plenty to choose from near Los Gatos!

Yosemite National Park

First protected in 1864, Yosemite National Park is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more. Yosemite National Park is a must-see for nature lovers! There are tons of beautiful places right in the park where you can spend the night and unwind surrounded by trees and the songs of birds.

Napa

The picturesque Napa Valley is home to world-famous wineries, hotels and restaurants. Napa Valley is the ultimate wine country, with over 500 wineries dotting the picturesque valley. Just 30 miles long and 5 miles wide, Napa Valley claims to have the perfect climate, soil, and topography to harvest legendary Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

Lake Tahoe
